Holocaust Images for Student Analysis and Deconstruction

Represented here are several images, presented without captions, that can be used in a “visual literacy” activity.
The “Explain The Image” worksheet here can be used as a handout to guide their analysis and reading of the photos.
Students have nothing to read here except the image. They must examine each carefully, looking for clues.
They could make a list of “everything you see.” What can they infer from what they see?
They can of course conduct their own research to determine the location, the time, or any other information but that is not the objective.
